My recommendations for inexpensive makeup...in every category.
Most girls would admit that Sephora is a guilty pleasure. The luxury makeup brands suck us right in, and we end up spending an absurd amount of money on what is essentially some powder that sparkles, when it comes down to it. I'm 120% guilty of this, and I imagine most of you reading this are as well.
However, sometimes overlooked are the many, many makeup brands that do the same thing for way less money. Drugstore makeup brands have come a LONG way in the last few years, and although they all have some dud products, it is entirely possible to buy amazing makeup at very low prices. Today, I recruited my friend Sloane to model a full face of inexpensive makeup. Every single product I used on Sloane was under $15.00 (with most being under $10.00), and they're all products I have used many times and LOVE. So, I hope that this post gives you at least one budget-friendly recommendation for any type of makeup you're wanting!
Face Products
Sloane has amazing skin, so she probably never needs to use this many products on her face. However, I wanted to use one of everything so that anyone reading this who doesn't have perfect skin (insert "girl raising hand" emoji) would have recommendations! I have raved about this foundation in a previous blog post, but all of these other face products are just as great. The standout here that I want to highlight is the blush. Milani blushes are amazing, but this one in "Romantic Rose" is pretty much an exact replica of my favorite Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade "Exposed." So beautiful, and so much cheaper!

Eye Products
I went pretty simple on Sloane's eyes: an everyday look with a little extra shimmer. The product to highlight here is the L'Oreal eyeshadow. It's a really interesting texture - kind of a cross between a loose pigment and a pressed shadow. You simply put some on your finger and dab it on the eyelid, and that is what is giving her this gorgeous bronzy glow!

Mascara: Covergirl The Super Sizer Mascara (shade - "Very Black")

Lip Products
Anyone who has been reading this blog lately has probably gathered that I almost always stick with very nude lip products. So, if only to keep things interesting, I wanted to do a pop of color on Sloane's lips. We started with the bright pink ColourPop product, but toned it down just a bit with the more neutral L'Oreal gloss stick. I love how it looks slightly different in different lighting!
ColourPop Lippie Stix (shade - "Juice Bar")
$5.00
L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Glossy Balm (shade - "200 Lovely Mocha")
$7.99
