Try this mascara duo, and you may never want to try another mascara combination again.
If the drugstore does one type of makeup better than high-end brands, it's mascara. I have tried so many expensive mascaras and thought, "This is nice, but no nicer than my [insert drugstore brand mascara here]." In the past year, I have discovered the mascara pairing to end all mascara pairings...you guessed, it: at the drugstore. CoverGirl mascaras are great in general, but these two together are absolute perfection.
For top lashes:

You have to try this one to believe it. It has such an interesting wand, and at first I didn't think I'd like it. The concept is to twirl the wand as you comb it through your lashes, but it doesn't really matter if you do that or not. This mascara adds volume, holds a curl, adds length, and just generally gives you great lashes. The waterproof formula is truly waterproof, but the regular formula doesn't cause any smudging throughout the day either. I cannot recommend this enough!

For bottom lashes:

For the longest time, I didn't understand why every mascara I tried caused dark smudging under my eyes throughout the day. Then, one of my favorite Beauty Youtubers mentioned that this mascara, in the waterproof formula, was the only thing she trusted on her bottom lashes. I gave it a try, and poof! No more smudging. This is also a very natural-looking formula, which is great if you don't like tons of mascara on your bottom lashes. I will also wear this on my top lashes for a "No Makeup Makeup" day, just to add some undetectable definition.
